GIB : with the triple gap up the stock has the very strong capibility
Economy expected to have slowed
in Q2. U.S. Q2 GDP data is due out this morning, with economists estimating that growth slowed to an annual rate of 1% from 1.8% in Q1, hurt by government austerity and weak global demand. Economists don't expect the reading to influence the FOMC as it makes its latest monetary policy decision today, because the print "tends to be backward looking." Changes to the way GDP is calculated, such as counting R&D as an investment, could boost the numbers. I don't mean to sound immature; but duh! Look at the unemployment numbers for college graduate between 2008-2012. An article published by The New York Times describes the "limbo" state that our country's youth is in. The article : http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/01/fashion/recent-college-graduates-wait-for-their-real-careers-to-begin.html?pagewanted=all&_r=1& goes on to detail the very real possibility of the generation of today not being able to grow. Our generation are the biggest spenders of all. And if we do not have the opportunities to earn disposable income, the problems of stagnation may have only just begun. BYI : Buy $75.00 Aug put @ $5.80 The 7/21/2013 : Tomorrow's (Monday 7/22/2013 Future's out look OKS: The channel down indicator was signaled. I'm taking a short position with a cover at $46.51. TRIP : The wedge pattern makes for a possible purchase opportunity. I have a purchase limit order at $60.55 & $59.85. DLPH: I have a long limit order at $51.11 & $ 50.01. If this stock begins to loose traction I would Sell the Aug $55 Calls @ $1.80 and Buy the $52.50 Puts @ $.78. With the premium I could then go ahead and purchase the November $42.50 Calls @ $3.20.
ALNY: 4.81 % on short position. The stock has touched S1 (support 1) and bounced. The retraction on the stock should break the S1 line, and should attempt S2 or support level 2, then settling on it's new base. TSM : has come down to support level and as the yellow line indicates, the stock has broken the momentum track. The stock can either gain its previous momentum to the upside, or break down past the $15.95.
NWSA: The 18% drop in the single trading day, for me indicates a possible bounce. I bought the stock for tomorrow for the possible bounce in tomorrow's trading session. $17.00 is my target for tomorrow. Also reasons for the dramatic drop : Rupert Murdoch could face criminal charges in the U.S. over a secret recording in which he indicated that payments to public officials for information was part of the culture of U.K. journalism, says New York lawyer Bradley Simon. The tape raises two issues: firstly, Murdoch implied he may have known about bribery at News Corp.'s (NWS) U.K. operations; secondly, the recording may undermine his testimony to regulators, with lying to law enforcers a crime under Title 18, Section 1001. (Seeking Alpha) ALNY : Short at $46.62, The double top at $61.00 has already indicated the resistance level has not been broken. If the $61 R1 does not break; the stock stands a significant possibility of failing. Alnylam Pharmaceuticals (ALNY +12.5%) adds to Thursday's rally, bringing the two-day gain to more than 31% on the heels of encouraging data from a Phase 1 trial of ALN-TTRsc. Deutsche's Alethia Young follows through on Thursday's "home run" commentary, hiking the price target for the stock to $60 from $40 noting that a subcutaneous dose "allows the company to pursue many therapeutic targets. (Seeking Alpha) BYI : $65.00 Gap up is a indicator from my past performance to short. I have had success with gap up shorts. They may be short lived and quickly find support, but a quick and easy short non the less. Bally Technologies (BYI) agrees to buy SHFL Entertainment (SHFL) for $23.35 per share in cash, or about $1.3B. Consolidation is slots? There's more to SHFL than that, wrote SA's Shaun Currie in a bullish piece just a few days ago. The offer is a 24% premium to last night's closing price. The number 2 slot machine maker Bally Technologies (BYI +10.5%) is a winner after its Q1 report. The company says "sustained operating improvement" looks set to "continue for the foreseeable future," as revenue climbs 13% and net income rises 39% to a record high. Thanks to "improving products, practical and effective innovation, and solid execution" BYI also lifts its FY2013 guidance to between $3.35-3.45 per share — analysts expect $3.33 (seeking Alpha) SCTY :
Solar stocks are turning in another good day (TAN +1.4%), aided by positive sell-side notes. Goldman says conference talks point to "strong US demand across residential, commercial and utility channels, with solid visibility through the balance of 2013." The firm adds the talks suggest its forecasts for 30% and 19% U.S. installation growth in 2013 and 2014 could be conservative, and that pricing appears solid. Meanwhile, Nomura believes Canadian Solar (CSIQ +4%), lifted by recent project wins, is set to become the first Chinese solar firm to turn profitable in 2013. DQ +6.4%. LDK +3.7%. TSL +4.6%. JKS +5.1%. SPWR +4.4%. SCTY +2.3%. SUNE +3%. (CSIQ/Deloitte) (U.S. solar growth) (Seeking Alpha) RRMS : + 5.24 % up 3.85% from last week

: LONG @ 72.19 Looking at the chart I range from $60.66 - $75.69. The outer range ($75.69) was tested twice; back in June 2-3 and 11th-12th. After those levels were tested CLVS dramatically plummeted. On the chart the 3rd attempt to break the range had a slight retraction. I'm looking the channel up on that yellow directional line. Once the yellow line is tested and "IF" it breaks down and can NOT hold the direction, I believe it will come back down to its original trading level at $36-38.00. "IF" I'm wrong, and the trend has steady continuous growth then I will cover the short, Sell puts for offsetting the loss, and sell a few calls for its initial retraction to its "new base" around $73-75.00 and buy long, and purchase calls for a bull spread. If I'm right the stock will become very affordable and if I'm wrong this will be a easy $100.00 stock. WPO : The rang of this short is vast. I'm looking at the August $490. Unfortunatly there are no options for this stock. So it would be an uprotected short. CLVS: Short at $72.01 and Buy stop @ $75 for a $4.07 loss. The SHARP 2.65 for a targeted $10.70+ trade. 4:10 ratio |
